LEGAL SECRETARIES PLANNING ANNUAL BANQUET aPRIL 10

The Cape Girardeau Legal Secretaries Association is making preparations for its annual banquet to be held April 10 at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

"The program will include a social hour at 6:30 p.m., dinner and program at 7:30 p.m., and an auction at 8:30 p.m.," said Jackie Givens of the group.

The auction will provide funds for the club's annual scholarship and educational fund.

"Items for the auction will be provided by area merchants and businesses," said Givens.

Three awards will be presented following the dinner Legal Secretary of the Year, Boss of the Year and Member of the Year.

New officers will also be installed.

Anyone involved in the legal field may attend the banquet. Cost is $12.50 per person. Reservations may be mailed to Barbara Ward, banquet chairperson, P. O. Box 350, Jackson, Mo. 63755. Reservations deadline is April 6.

The chapter's next regular meeting will be held at Shoney's Thursday, starting with dinner at 5:30 p.m. New officers will be elected at that meeting and installed April 10.
