LAUREATE BETA XI HEARS MISSIONARIES

The Beta Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the home of Linda Metheny March 13, with Marilyn Schwab serving as co-hostess.

Karen Menard, vice president, presided over a short business meeting.

Plans are being made to attend a dinner-play sometime in April. Final plans will be presented at the next meeting.

Secret Sister gifts were exchanged and acknowledged.

Marilyn Schwab introduced her guest speakers, C. John Ritter, M.D., and his wife Marcia, who spoke on of the missionary work that is being done in South Africa. They told of the many needs of the people in the Greater Ganta area and of the medical services that are being provided through this missionary work.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Char Gibbs on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. Election of Officers and Woman of the Year will be voted on at that time.
