CREVE COEUR, Mo. --The last of the Otten sextuplets born in April is home in Illinois.

Jacob was released from St. John's Mercy Medical Center in this St. Louis suburb Thursday, the hospital said in a statement Friday. His grandmother, Linda Otten, said Jacob had remained hospitalized for treatment of acid reflux, but had been cleared to go home.

Two of his siblings, Madison and Tyler, were released June 2, while babies Isabella, Joshua and Rileigh gradually have gone home to nearby Granite City, Ill., when they were able to take a bottle, the hospital said.

The premature sextuplets were born April 9. Work continued to move the family into a renovated home, Linda Otten said.

Parents Ron and Tina Otten already had two daughters, Hannah, 4, and Abigail, 2, before the birth of their new three boys and three girls.

The couple underwent fertility treatments to conceive their two older daughters, and used the identical method when they wanted to conceive for a third time. The Ottens said they never thought the fertility drug they used would result in a pregnancy of six babies.
