State Sen. Brad Lager, the man who hopes to replace Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, will be paying a visit to Kinder's hometown Friday when he is scheduled to be the featured speaker at a meeting of the Cape Girardeau County Republican Women's Club.
The program will start at noon Friday following lunch at 11:45 a.m. at Dexter Bar-B-Que in Cape Girardeau.
"It is important that voters have the opportunity to interact with all the candidates so that they can identify the candidate who most closely aligns with their values," said club president Holly Lintner.
