KUBAN TO PERFORM AT JACKSON REUNION

Bob Kuban, the '50s and '60s recording artist of rock and soul tunes, will perform in Cape Girardeau on July 20 at the Jackson High School Class of 1966 reunion.

Kuban's performance will be open to the public, and is scheduled from 9 p.m. to midnight. The reunion and Kuban's performance will be at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.

One of Kuban's most popular songs in the 1960s was called "The Cheater." He now performs regularly in St. Louis and on riverboats.

Vicki Puckett of Jackson, a member of the class of '66, said Kuban played at her senior class party.
