The annual reunion of the Joseph and Ernestine Ruehling Kranawetter family was held July 30 and 31 in Jacob, Ill.
Events the first day included lunch and dinner at a restaurant in Neunert, Ill.; tour of Fountain Bluff Cemetery and areas where family members lived, and vesper service at Christ Lutheran Church in Neunert.
The next day the group attended Christ Church, held a potluck meal at noon at Jacob Community Center, and various history information was shared and handed out.
Relatives attended from Cape Girardeau, Scott City, Jackson, Altenburg, Frohna, Uniontown, Perryville, Friedheim, Oak Ridge, St. Louis; Cheyenne, Wyo.; Gardnerville, Nev.; Evansville and Valparaiso, Ind., and the Illinois towns of Batavia, Chester, Murphysboro, Gorham, Rockwood and Jacob.
The 1995 reunion will be held in Pocahontas.
