PADUCAH, Ky. -- Timothy Krajcir, the 67-year-old convicted murderer who in 2008 confessed to killing five women in Cape Girardeau, pleaded guilty to four charges in a Kentucky courtroom Wednesday and had 65 years added to the 15 life sentences he was already serving in Illinois.
Krajcir pleaded to first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery, first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping in an incident that involved him restraining a man and then assaulting the man's mother in a Kentucky home about Jan. 1, 1978, said McCracken Commonwealth Attorney Dan Boaz.
Krajcir has admitted to killing nine women in four states, including five in Southeast Missouri and one in Paducah.
"It brings justice for the victims of the crimes we know he committed in McCracken County," Boaz said.
Krajcir was to be transported back to Illinois to continue serving his sentences, Boaz said Wednesday.
