KISS TRIBUTE BAND PLAYERS FRIDAY

The KISS tribute band Black Diamond will perform Friday night at Players in Cape Girardeau.

Doors will open for the concert at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 8:30. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Also appearing with Black Diamond will be special musical guests.

The stage will be set with a classic KISS look from 1976-77, and will feature one 10-foot gargoyle and two five-foot cats.

The show includes the equivalent of 50 pounds of dynamite used in concussion bombs, six fire towers, 18 air bursts, two streams of raining fire, two spinning pinwheels, who kinds of smoke and one smoking guitar.

The set list will include such songs as "Detroit Rock City," " "Ace's Solo," and "Rock and Roll All Night," along with "Black Diamond."
