Gamma Sigma Sigma, the national service sorority at Southeast Missouri State University, is sponsoring a "Kiss The Pig" contest today as part of the school's Family Weekend.
All money raised will be donated to the Red Cross Relief Fund.
Candidates will run for Pig Queen and King. The candidate receiving the most positive points will kiss a pot belly pig during the halftime show at today's Indian football game.
Votes were cast in several locations during the week. They may still be cast today at the Gamma Sigma Sigma information booth, located in front of Academic Hall.
Pennies are negative points, while silver coins and dollars are positive points.
The candidates are: Paul Carr, director of Resident Life; Beth Glaus, director of Parking Services University Police; Jeff Davis, president of Student Government; Chris Meyers, president of Interfraternity Council; and Larry Blue, president of Pan-Hellenic Council.
