The King-Royal Bros. Circus will give performances at 5 and 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.
The circus has added four baby elephants to its Kiddie's Zoo Wonderland. All the elephants will be on display from 9:30 a.m. throughout the day of the performance, which is sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Rotary Club.
Another baby at the circus will be Princess Tanzania, a baby Hippopotamus orphaned at birth and bottle-raised at the King Royal Texas Ranch. Winkum and Blinkum, the circus's pygmy midget-zebras will be along, too.
The 100-minute show will feature scores of clowns, acrobats, aerialists and other circus superstars from every continent on earth.
The circus's own veterinarian will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about the animals.
Advance tickets are on sale at Schnucks on Kingshighway and at all Boatmen's Bank locations.
Children and seniors tickets are $4, and adults tickets are $6. Tickets at the gate are $6 for children and seniors and $10 for adults.
