Kennett schools approve random drug testing

KENNETT, Mo. -- The Kennett Board of Education considered a random drug testing policy at its monthly meeting Tuesday night, according to the Daily Dunklin Democrat. Deb Cook, the district's director of health services, has been discussing the implementation of a random drug testing policy with the board and presented her recommendation to the board. Cook demonstrated to the board how the drug testing would be used. The board proceeded to approve the implementation of the policy for students who drive vehicles to school and/or participate in activities associated with the Missouri State Activities Association.
