KELLY SLATES MONDAY AS KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION

BENTON -- An orientation meeting for parents of children who will start kindergarten in the fall at Kelly Elementary School will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

All parents of children who will be five year old prior to July 1 should attend this meeting.

Topics to be discussed include the kindergarten screening process, student eligibility, the enrollment process, registration information, the kindergarten curriculum and some of the things that parents can do to better prepare their child for kindergarten.
