BENTON -- Melanie UrHahn, a senior at Kelly High School in Benton, is the recipient of a full-ride renewable scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University.

In high school, Melanie was Beta CLub president, FHA vice-president, science club secretary and STUCO representative. She received the "I Dare You" award and attended Girl's State and Sophomore Pilgrimage.

She is the daughter of John and Diane Urhahn of Benton and plans to major in elementary education at Southeast.
