The members include state Rep. Mary Kasten, R-Cape Girardeau.

Sen. Harold Caskey, D-Butler, and Rep. Pat Dougherty, D-St. Louis, are co-chairing the committee.

The committee has scheduled hearings for Oct. 13 and 14 at the Capitol in Jefferson City.

The committee is scheduled to submit a report to legislative leaders by Dec. 15.
