"Midwest Minis," an exhibit of two-and three-dimensional artwork, will be on display at Gallery 100 Feb. 7-26.
The displays included in the exhibit are from artists from all over the United States. The artists submitted their work to be reviewed by the exhibit judge, Steven D. Gregg of S. Gregg Gallery in Cape Girardeau.
Gregg will select pieces to be exhibited from those works entered and will award cash prizes, gift certificates and ribbons for first, second, third and honorable mention. Prize winners will be announced at the opening reception to be held from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 7.
Juried shows such as the Midwest Minis are sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts to offer beginning artists an opportunity to compete with other artists for an exhibition opportunity.
The show has funding assistance from the Missouri Arts Council.
The gallery is open from 1-4 p.m. weekdays.
