CAPE GIRARDEAU Holloway Floor Covering, 831 S. Kingshighway, has expanded its services by adding an interior design department. Interior designer Lisa Pobst has joined the staff.

"We have had freelance designers in the past," said company president Eugene Holloway. "This new department will be located in the store and be available full time. On site service will be available."

Pobst will offer advice on interior design, including floor covering, window treatment, wall covering, cabinets and more. The service is free.

Pobst earned a degree in interior design from Southeast Missouri State University and has four years' experience in the field with a local interior design firm. She is certified as a wall covering consultant by the National Decorating Products Association of St. Louis. The Oak Ridge native lives in Cape Girardeau with her family.

Holloway opened the store in 1976. He has 40 years' experience in floor covering installation.
