Roger Champ has joined the staff of I.V. Care Inc., 63 Doctors Park.
The firm provides in-home intravenous infusion therapy to patients. It includes medical, anesthetic and nutritional service. "This is for patients who require IV therapy but are medically stable, not requiring hospitalization. It is an alternative setting to a hospital," said Randy Morse, who owns the firm.
Champ is a registered pharmacist who has been practicing in Poplar Bluff the last seven years. A native of Holcomb, he obtained his degree in 1984 at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Champ has relocated to Cape Girardeau.
Morse said in-home IV therapy has developed in the last few years. He started I.V. Care Inc. last September.
