Boatmen's National Bank of Cape Girardeau has announced the addition of new personnel David Shell, real estate lending officer, and Monica Fluegge, loan processor.

Shell's responsibilities include both residential and commercial real estate lending.

He is a native of Sikeston, and most recently served three years as a loan officer at Mercantile Bank of Stoddard County in Dexter. Prior to that, he was a loan officer with Savings of America, Sikeston for six years.

Shell attended Arkansas State University, with major emphasis in business administration. He and his wife, Gina, have a son and a daughter.

Fluegge joins Boatmen's with five years' experience as a mortgage loan officer with Capital Bank in Jackson. As loan processor, she will monitor real estate loans from initiation to close.

She is a native of Alexandria, La. She is a graduate of Jackson High School, and has a degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University.

She is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, Professional Secretaries International, and the Jackson Noon Optimist Club. She and her husband, Kenneth, are parents of a son.
