JACKSON -- The Bethel 60 Jackson Job's Daughters organization has launched a fund-raising campaign to raise money for the HIKE (Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment) Fund.
HIKE is the official charity of the International Order of Job's Daughters. Since its inception five years ago, the fund has bought nearly $150,000 worth of hearing devices and equipment for needy children.
The local group has placed decorated collection containers in area businesses. This effort is one of the many being carried out throughout Missouri with the donations to be recognized at the Job's Daughters annual grand session to be held in June in Jefferson City.
