Marble Hill Fire Chief James Bollinger has been appointed to the Missouri Fire Safety Advisory Board.
State Sen. Peter Kinder, R-Cape Girardeau, sponsored his nomination in the Senate.
Bollinger was selected to the board as an arson investigation expert.
He has been with the Marble Hill Fire Department for 35 years. He has served as fire chief for 24 years.
He also is an associate instructor with the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute.
