A Jackson teenager is in jail on $15,000 bond after officers caught him with four bags of marijuana, the Jackson Police Department reported Tuesday. Tyler W. Glydewell, 19, was arrested Sunday at Jackson City Park, Jackson police reported in a news release Tuesday. An officer speaking with Glydewell noticed he was behaving suspiciously and discovered that Glydewell had four bags of marijuana, including one containing "a substantial amount" of the drug, the release stated. Glydewell was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Online court records show this is Glydewell's third brush with the law in as many years. In 2012, he pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and was placed on five years' supervised probation. Last year, Glydewell pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. His probation on the earlier case was revoked, and he was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, online court records show.
