Three vans are now available for weekday deliveries to homebound seniors age 60 and older and to every disabled adult who requests it. The service is also available to seniors temporarily incapacitated due to surgery or injury. Volunteer drivers who deliver the meals cover a route of more than 130 miles to more than 100 homebound adults. The conversation and connection they bring to some recipients may be the only daily contact they have with the community.

For more information about enrollment in the homebound meal delivery program or to volunteer, call 243-4241.
