Jackson School District announces enrollment dates

Jackson School District school enrollment and open house dates:n Class lists will be posted at each elementary building Aug. 11. Classes begin Aug. 17.

* All elementary schools: Enrollment for new elementary students is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

* Gordonville Attendance Center: Open house for all grades is from 5 to 6 p.m. Aug. 13.

* Millersville Attendance Center: Open house for all grades is from 5 to 6 p.m. Aug. 13.

* North Elementary: Kindergarten open house is at 6 p.m. Aug. 12. First grade is at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12. Second grade is at 7 p.m. Aug. 12. Third grade is at 6 p.m. Aug. 13. Fourth grade is at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13. Fifth grade is at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.

* Orchard Elementary: Kindergarten open house is at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 12. First, second and third grades will have open house at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 13.

* South Elementary: Kindergarten, first- and second-grade open house is from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 11. Pre-kindergarten/Title 1 open house is from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12. Third, fourth, fifth grades and early childhood special education open house is from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13.

* West Lane Elementary: Open House is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13.

* Middle School: Sixth-grade enrollment is 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Seventh-grade enrollment is from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday. Back to School Night is from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 18.

* Junior High School: Ninth-grade enrollment is from 8 to 10 a.m. for students A-L and 10 a.m. to noon for students M-Z Aug. 10. Eighth-grade enrollment is from 8 to 10 a.m. for students A-L and 10 a.m. to noon for students M-Z Aug. 11. Eighth- and ninth-grade enrollment is from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 11. Back to School Night is Aug. 25.

n High School: Enrollment will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the new commons area. Lockers will be assigned, student pictures taken and schedules will be given out. Back to School Night is from 7 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24.
