William Artadi, 20, one of three Jackson men charged in the rash of burglaries that took place in Jackson and Cape Girardeau during a nine-month period, will now be sentenced Jan. 22 following a continuance that was granted at the defendant's request.

The case caused nearly 40 criminal counts to be filed against Artadi and his co-defendants Aaron Denson, 21, and Jacob Colyott, 20. Artadi saw seven of his charges dismissed by way of a plea bargain that could result in just probation.
