A search warrant served at the Jackson residence of Ward P. Meader, 40, Monday resulted in his arrest and several drug charges.
After a joint investigation by the Jackson police and the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, a warrant was served at about 7:30 a.m. at Meador's home at 1018 Jessica Street.
Meader was charged with attempted manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possesion of ephedrine with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $75,000 and Meader is currently in custody at the Cape Girardeau County Jail.
