DEXTER, Mo. -- Dexter native Candy Coburn is one of 64 unsigned country acts vying for a shot at recording an episode of Country Music Television's online program "Studio 330 Sessions."
The contest pits artists against each other in a NCAA basketball tournament-style bracket.
Voting in the first round of the contest ends at 11:59 p.m. Monday, and takes place at www.cmt.com/interact/music_city_madness/vote/.
Jackson country band the John D. Hale Band is also taking part in the contest.
