Jackson city officials are advising residents to move their cars out of snow routes by 3 a.m. Friday.
Vehicles left along designated snow routes after that time may be ticketed or towed to make way for snow plows, public works director Rodney Bollinger announced in a news release Thursday afternoon.
Snow routes include:
* Broadridge Drive from Orchard Drive to West Independence Street.
* North and South Farmington Road from West Main Street to the city limits.
* Greensferry Road from North Hope Street to the city limit.
* North High Street from Washington Street to the city limit.
* North Hope Street from Main Street to Greensferry Road.
* South Hope Street from Main Street to the city limit.
* West Independence Street from North High Street to the city limit.
* All of Interstate 55.
* East and West Jackson Boulevard from South Hope Street to the city limits.
* East Main Street from Hope Street to the city limit.
* West Main Street from Hope Street to West Jackson Boulevard.
* North Oak Hill Road from East Main Street to Oak Ridge Drive.
* Oak Ridge Drive from North Oak Hill Road to Ridge Road.
* South Old Orchard Road from East Jackson Boulevard to East Main Street.
* Orchard Drive from North West Lane to Broadridge Drive.
* Ridge Road from North Shawnee Boulevard to Oak Ridge Drive.
* North Shawnee Boulevard from East Main Street to Ridge Road.
* South Shawnee Boulevard from East Main Street to East Jackson Boulevard.
* East Washington Street from North Hope Street to North High Street.
* North West Lane from West Jackson Boulevard to Orchard Drive.
Other streets will be cleared according to street department protocol, the release stated.
Vehicles parked within the Jackson Uptown Historic District may be left in place, the release stated.
