Jackson boil order lifted

The boil-water order that was in effect for properties along and around Old Cape Road East in Jackson has been lifted. City crews restored water service to all customers by Thursday afternoon and water quality sampling results received late Friday revealed no contamination. The city's water can now be safely consumed without boiling. The order was due to utility repair work along East Jackson Boulevard.
