Action Items

Public hearing on approval of a proposed school district budget for the 1995-96 fiscal year.

Accept the June 30, 1994, school district audit prepared by Hendrix, Schwab, Garner, Schermann & Co., P.C.

Appoint a school district auditor for the 1995-96 fiscal year. Present auditor is Jerry Schwab.

Appoint a board secretary for the 1995-96 fiscal school year.

Appoint a board treasurer for the 1995-96 fiscal school year.

Appoint an attorney of record for the district for the 1995-96 fiscal year. Present attorney is David Beeson.

Approve a contract with the Cape Girardeau Adult Learning Center to operate an ABE/GED satellite program in the Jackson R-2 School District for the 1995-96 school year.

Approve the following capital projects for 1995-96: refurbish risers in the high school band and vocal music rooms at an estimated cost of $4,000; and replace the pole vault pit at an estimated cost of $5,000.

Approve the 1995-96 Title VI Program. The estimated cost of this federally funded program is $18,059.

Approve the 1995-96 Title I Program. The estimated cost of this federally funded program is $193,545.

Approve a transfer of $500,000 from the incidental fund to the capital projects fund prior to June 30.

Consider canceling the June 27 meeting of the board unless a called meeting is necessary.
