Power and Light Committee

Authorized a contractual agreement with Spiegel & McDiarmid for services relating to the review of power purchasing contracts.

Tabled a proposed ordinance to authorize the city's participation in a memorandum of agreement for professional services rendered by L.E. Haefner Enterprises Inc., relative to an I-66 Corridor Study.

Approved motion to record the disposition of certain city records which have met their retention schedule under RSMo. 109.230.

Amended the Compensation Plan of 2002 by authorizing the creation of the position of director of electric utilities.

Street Committee

Approved the voluntary annexation of 13.14 acres of property owned by the Jackson Industrial Development Co.

Accepted petition for voluntary annexation of 0.67 acres of property owned by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nitsch and setting a public hearing for Monday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Accepted the bid of Fronabarger Concreters Inc. of Oak Ridge, Mo., in the amount of $150,901.50 relative to the 2002 Concrete Street Repair Project.

Approved a contractual agreement with Fronabarger Concreters Inc. relative to street improvements under the 2002 Concrete Street Repair Project.
