Action Items

Power and light committee

• Set the annual Jackson Board of Aldermen/Cape Girardeau City Council joint meeting for 7 p.m. March 12 at the Osage Community Centre.
• Approved an ordinance accepting the dedication of an electric line easement deed from the Heise Family Trust for the 34.5 kilovolt Electric Line Transmission Project.
• Approved an ordinance authorizing the acquisition of property regarding the Hubble Creek Recreation Trail Project, City Park to West Jackson Boulevard.

Street committee

• Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 to consider the proposed abandonment of Shawn Drive, as submitted by Steve and Amelia Ledbetter, Howard and Shirley Duer, and Steve and Erikka Sokolowski.
• Accepted the voluntary annexation petition for 1.9 acres of property addressed as 2869 Bainbridge Road and set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. March 5 as submitted by PB Properties LLC.
• Approved the final plat of Pioneer Orchard Sixth Subdivision as submitted by Missouri Lakes LLC.
• Accepted the dedication of a lift station access easement deed from Missouri Lakes LLC.
• Accepted the dedication of a storm water detention and drainage easement deed from Creola Investments LLC and Midwest Sterilization Corp.
