Power and Light Committee
-- Passed motion to approve the Semi-Annual Financial Statement ending Dec. 31 and to publish in the local newspaper.
-- Passed motion amending the 1996 budget.
-- Passed motion to proceed with Grandview Acres Sewer Project as a separate project from Saddlebrook Sewer Project.
-- Passed resolution determining the inter of the city of Jackson to reimburse itself for certain capital expenditures.
-- Passed ordinance abolishing the elected office of city collector pursuant to authority granted by a vote of the public on Municipal Election Day 1996.
-- Passed ordinance authorizing advertisement for bids for sewer rodder machine.
Street Committee
-- Passed motion to accept those portions of Trail Ridge Drive, Whitney Jean Drive and Smith Trail in Trail Ridge Third Subdivision as public streets and also accept the water and sewer system serving those lots along these streets, in Trail Ridge Third Subdivision.
-- Passed motion authorizing reimbursement of $13,693.54 for additional thickness and width on North West Lane as per compliance with Major Street Plan and City's Street Improvement Policy.
-- Tabled ordinance amending provision of Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances and relating to the definition of residential trash collection.
