Action Items

Power and Light Committee

A. Approved an ordinance accepting dedication of drainage easement from Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

B. Approved an ordinance authorizing Mayor to sign depository agreements with Union Planters Bank and Boatmen's Bank.

C. Approved the preliminary plat of Savannah Woods Subdivision, as submitted by Mr. John Lichtenegger of Appleton Valley Farm, Inc.

D. Authorized contractual agreement with developers of Savannah Ridge Subdivision and Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

E. Authorized contractual agreement with Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission.

Street Committee

A. Approved the voluntary annexation of property owned by the Jackson R-2 School District.

B. Ratified City's participation in the 1997 Southeast Missouri Solid Waste Management District Grant Application.

C. Set a Public Hearing for Monday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m., to consider the request for a Special Use Permit at 563 Broadridge Drive for the operation of a day care facility.
