-- Approved a joint resolution of the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau and the Board of Aldermen of the City of Jackson expressing and reconfirming mutual support for planning and construction of three key highway projects of regional importance by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

-- Received staff report on Joint Annexation Committee meetings; staff report on studies of water systems and emergency interconnections; staff report on use of cable Channel 5.

-- Approved an ordinance annexing certain real estate to the City of Jackson which is concurrently being detached from the corporate limits of the City of Cape Girardeau.
