Public Hearings

* Held hearing to rezone Lots 1 through 10 and 15 through 24 of West Vale Subdivision from C-2 (general commercial) to R-2 (single-family residential), submitted by the City of Jackson.

* Held hearing to rezone property addressed as 233 W. Jackson Blvd. from I-2 (heavy industrial) to C-2, submitted by Philip Penzel of Penzel Construction Co.

* Held hearing to rezone property addressed as 2080 E. Main St. from R-2 to C-2 as submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Huskey.

* Held hearing to rezone 53.5 acres along East Main Street from R-2 and R-3 (general residential) to C-2, submitted by Edna Hawthorne, Mr. and Mrs. John V. Priest, William Francis, Joe Bullinger, Mary Hartje, Pat Tollison and Roy D. Bollinger.

Power and Light Committee

* Authorized paying $14,602.92 to Monroe Plumbing and Heating Co., Inc., for the Klaus Park sanitary sewer lift station and force main.

Street Committee

* Approved rezoning Lots 1 through 10 and 15 through 24 of West Vale Subdivision from C-2 to R-2.

* Approved rezoning property at 233 W. Jackson Blvd. from I-2 to C-2. The site will be a branch of the Bank of Missouri.

* Set hearing for 7:30 p.m. June 19, to consider special-use permit for self-storage facilities in a C-2 district at 974 W. Independence St., submitted by Michael Lackamp.

* Set hearing at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 19, on rezoning Lots 1 through 7 of Brookview Subdivision, Lots 8 through 11 of Brookview III Subdivision and the property addressed as 2941 Old Cape Road from C-2 to R-2 (one- and two-family residential), submitted by the City.
