Power and Light Committee

* Approved motion to change the regular council meeting from Monday, June 18, to Tuesday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. due to a Chamber of Commerce banquet scheduled for June 18.

* Approved a resolution accepting the petition for voluntary annexation of property owned by the Cape Special Road District and set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 2.

* Approved a bill proposing an ordinance to accept the dedication of a sanitary sewer easement from the Jackson Country Club, Inc.

Street Committee

* Approved a bill proposing an ordinance authorizing a contractual agreement with Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying, Inc., of Cape Girardeau relative to the survey and preparation of legal descriptions of right of way for the proposed extension of South West Lane between West Jackson Boulevard and South Farmington Road.

* Passed motion approving original package liquor and Sunday sales license for Devlin Energy Group, L.L.C., doing business as Penny Pincher, at 2030 E. Jackson Blvd.

* Passed motion approving 5 percent beer by drink and Sunday sales license for Daniel & Antonio Inc., doing business as El Torero, at 711 E. Jackson Blvd.
