JACKSON ABWA TO SPONSOR PAGEANT

JACKSON -- The Jacksonian Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will sponsor the Miss Jackson Scholarship Pageant and Miss Christmas Pageant at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18.

There also will be a competition for Junior Miss Christmas, Miss Holly and Little Miss Snowball and Little Miss Snowflake beginning at 2 p.m.

The Miss Jackson Scholarship Pageant is directed under the rules of the Miss America Scholarship Program. The scholarship fund is financed by area merchants, businesses and organizations. Winners of associated pageants receive savings bonds and prizes donated by area businesses and financial institutions.

Entry forms are available at Precious Memories Bridal Store, The Way Christian Book Store and Main Street Fitness. Girls and women 4 through 24 will be eligible to compete in one of the pageants.
