The American Business Women's Association is a national association dedicated to providing business training for women of diverse backgrounds. There are more than 1,900 chapters with more than 90,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Perry is a special duty U.S. Marshal and works in the court security division at the Federal Courthouse in Cape Girardeau. She and her husband, Don, have one child.
