JACKSON -- The Jacksonian Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is taking applications for scholarships.
The scholarships range from $100 to $500.
To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must be a resident of Cape Girardeau County, write a biographical statement of one's self, completely fill out the application and include a copy of a current transcript and maintain a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Proper forms can be obtained by contacting local guidance counselors and by contacting Cindie Jeter, ABWA education chairman, at 335-8291 or Saundra Perry, ABWA president, at 651-3566.
The deadline for applications is March 29. Applicants will be selected by members of ABWA. The recipients will be notified by letter in April.
