Friends and family of Lisa Chundi Watkins Rose will hold a benefit to help pay for the medical expenses incurred after Rose's car accident in November.

Rose's accident occurred in Jefferson City when she hit a deer, was knocked unconscious and then struck several trees before her vehicle stopped.

She has two children, ages 9 and 3, who are being cared for while she resides in Jackson Manor in a vegetative state.

Rose was a sales executive for the Banner Press in Marble Hill, Mo.

A chili and chicken noodle dinner will be held at 4 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran, Mo.

Benefit coordinators are still seeking donated auction items to help raise money.

The dinner will be followed by a raffle, auction and music.
