Irby appointed new director of University Center

Michele Irby has been named director of the University Center at Southeast Missouri State University.

Irby has served as interim director since March, officials said. Before serving as interim director, Irby served for two years as assistant director of operations and for the two years prior to that as assitant director for student involvement.

Irby replaces Mary Kay Poljan, who moved to a fund-raising position with KRCU radio, the university's Public Radio affiliate station.
