Infinity Data Products, Inc., of Jackson has just completed its sixth expansion by adding 25% more floor space to accommodate the firm's ninth year in a row of growth. The new floor space will be used for offices, new computer builds and for a Point-Of-Sale Systems demo room.
The POS segment of their business has been enhanced by the signing of Infinity Data Products as an authorized dealer for ECR Software's new "Catapult" software system for small, medium and large retail stores. They are also an authorized dealer for TEC America's "ST" line of Electronic Cash Register systems.
Staff has also been expanded by the addition of Joseph Ward as a POS Consultant. His in-depth sales and support experience in the POS Systems market is a valuable addition to the firm.
Nathan Stitt is also a recent staff addition and will function as a Senior Systems Technician and Internet Consultant. He has in-depth experience in web-site design and implementation, networking, operating systems and systems troubleshooting.
Infinity Data Products began business in February 1989 as a one-person/one-office operation. It now occupies half of the entire top floor of the Jackson Professional Building at 1404 Old Cape Road in Jackson. The firm's founder, Larry L. Myers, has been in the computer service business since 1968 when he went to work for Control Data Corporation as a technician on large mainframe computers following an electronics career with the U.S. Air Force. Myers entered the PC computer market in the mid-80's when a down-turn in the main-frame market resulted in a downsizing by his former employer.
Infinity Data Products is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. For more information about their services, call (573) 243-8483 or (800) 776-3304.
