Indian Creek Bridge to close six weeks for repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- A project to replace the deck of the Indian Creek Bridge and perform other repairs began Monday.

The bridge will be closed for six weeks, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

During renovations to the bridge, on Highway 177 in Cape Girardeau County, Highway 177 will be closed from County Road 602 to Route J, including nights and weekends. Detours include Route V, Route W and Interstate 55.
