INDEPENDENCE WORK SCHEDULED

ASSA Asphalt will be repairing a portion of Independence Street near Kingshighway early this morning.

There should be short delays, but flagmen will direct traffic around the construction area.

The work is needed to correct an area that settled during construction of channel improvements on the west-end flood-control project.

Work is to start at 7 a.m. and should be completed by 8 a.m.
