Cape Girardeau's two incumbent school board members filed for re-election Tuesday.
According to the district office, Deneke Murphy and Kyle McDonald will both be on the ballot for the April 3 election.
In Jackson, incumbent Brent Wills filed for re-election. Paul Stoner, a Jackson resident since 2004, also filed, according to board secretary Bonnie Stahlman. Stoner has two daughters who attend South Elementary and is an operations manager for FedEx Express in Cape Girardeau.
Several calls to the Scott City superintendent's office late Tuesday afternoon to check for election filings were unanswered.
Filing for the April 3 election opened Tuesday in Missouri and continues through Jan. 17. Those seeking school board seats can file at their local school board offices.
