JACKSON -- Elizabeth H. Chastain has accepted a new position with the Hahn Co., headquartered in San Diego, Calif.

Chastain, who previously served as marketing director and assistant manager at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau, will be assistant manager of operations at the St. Clair Square Mall, a 1.2 million square foot shopping center with 136 stores. The mall, which is anchored by Dillards, Famous Barr, JCPenney, and Sears, is located in Fairview Heights, Ill.

Chastain, a native of Marion, Ohio, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, with a double major in marketing and business management. While in college, she owned and managed a delivery service, Sunrise Express, out of Chester, Ill.

She sold her business in 1988, and worked as a market researcher and account executive at KFVS-TV until accepting a position at West Park Mall.

She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has served on the public relations committee for the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, and on the businessperson Advisory Committee for Southeast Missouri State University.

While at West Park Mall, she attended Marketing I and Marketing II Institutes. She was also a finalist for two Emerald Awards, a May Center, Inc. recognition program for marketing excellence.

Chastain and her husband, Rick, have a daughter, Christina Elizabeth Chastain.
