IN NEW POSITION

Susan Helwege of Cape Girardeau has joined the staff of Targeted Publications, a division of the Southeast Missourian newspaper as an account executive. She is selling and designing advertisements for Zip Sheet, TBY and other regular publications and special tabs of the company.

Helwege replaces Janie Haley, who transferred to the advertising staff of the Southeast Missourian.

She and Scott Helwege opened Wedge's Restaurant, 2120 William, in May 1990.

She is a native of Laguna Beach, Calif., and studied graphic design at West Valley College of San Jose. Before moving to Cape Girardeau, she worked as employee trainer for the Rusty Pelican restaurant chain in California.

She has one son, Justin, who is 2 years old.
