The following information was released Friday by the federal prosecutor's office for defendants appearing in federal court before U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr.
PLEADED GUILTY
Name: Corey L. Shannon
Age: 30
Residence: Cape Girardeau
Charge: One felony count of distribution of cocaine.
Sentencing: Set for July 9. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of more than $1 million.
Summary: On Aug. 27 in Cape Girardeau County, Shannon distributed 4.8 grams of cocaine to a confidential informant for the Drug Enforcment Administration in exchange for $600.
