Summary: On Dec. 24, Douglas followed his wife, Jessica Douglas to her place of employment, Easy Money in Cape Girardeau. There, he stole around $200 from the register and forced his wife at gunpoint into her car. During a car ride to Mississippi, Douglas admitted to hitting Jessica Douglas in the face twice and also fired a pistol toward the passenger window. Authorities surrounded a hotel in Gluckstadt, Miss., and arrested Douglas as he was attempting to flee the area.
