Name: Justin Wesley Kennedy and Kelly Ann Kennedy
Age: 28 and 27
Residence: Cape Girardeau
Charge: One felony count of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine
Sentencing: Set for May 17. Each faces a maximum punishment of 20 years' imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
Summary: On Oct. 5, SEMO Drug Task Force officers saw Kelly Kennedy purchasing pseudoephedrine at a Cape Girardeau pharmacy working off of information that Kelly and Justin Kennedy were involved in manufacturing methamphetamine. Officers arrested the Kennedys after following them and seeing them purchasing other items used in methamphetamine production.
